Extrude Hone is exhibiting on stand D29 in Hall 3 – be there or be square!

As the 53rd International Paris Air Show draws closer, Extrude Hone is busy making preparations and is getting very excited at the prospect of welcoming customers and prospective customers alike to its stand D29 in Hall 3 at Le Bourget Parc des Expositions from 17-23rd June, 2019.

If it’s anything like the 2017 show, the 2019 show promises to be an action-packed week!

The 2017 show saw 322k visitors, 2381 exhibitors and 140 aircraft on display, 45 of which performed glittering flying displays. The show caters to a truly international audience with 50% of the trade exhibitors and 32% of trade visitors coming from outside France, representing 48 countries. The international nature of the show makes it an absolute ‘must-attend’ for Extrude Hone, a niche surface solutions company that supports companies at all levels of the aerospace supply chain all around the globe.

For many years, Extrude Hone has helped aircraft engine manufacturers reduce fuel consumption by improving the flow efficiency of critical engine components such as Guide Vanes, Blisk/IBRs, Impellers, and Fuel Nozzles. It has also helped hydraulic systems manufacturers guarantee functionality of manifolds and valves that actuate systems such as landing gear, wing flaps and tail rudder by improving fatigue strength and eliminating risk of contamination by burrs and partially sintered powder.

As aerospace primes and tier 1’s continue to harness the power of Additive Manufacturing and more and more 3D-printed components get validated for flight, Extrude Hone expects AM to be a hot topic at the show. Come and learn about our capabilities in design for additive manufacturing (DfAM), rapid removal of support structures, complete removal of partially sintered and unsintered material and R-value improvement on internal and external surfaces of additively manufactured components.

With its suite of technologies, Extrude Hone can turn an additively manufactured part into a truly functional part by improving mechanical properties, eliminating risk of contamination, improving flow performance and significantly reducing cycle time for post-processing steps. Extrude Hone are also keen to talk to customers with 3D printed applications for the space industry.

We look forward to meeting you at the show…
