At Extrude Hone we are proud to be a member of America Makes.

At Extrude Hone, since the birth of additive manufacturing, we have been engaged by customers and institutes to apply our technologies to the finishing of 3D printed components.

As a global organization, all of our worldwide locations have been involved in additive manufacturing projects. We support from feasibility to production, designing the best finishing solutions and developing a close collaboration with our customer from the moment the prototype/ the part is designed.

In 2017 we launched a new technology, COOLPULSE, alongside our existing range of technologies (AFM, MICROFLOW, ECM, and TEM) to better respond to the need for fast and high quality finishing of 3D printed components.

Our aim is to be the leader in expert finishing consulting of additive manufacturing components. In order to be as efficient as possible, we have set up a dedicated additive manufacturing department within Extrude Hone which includes dedicated additive manufacturing engineering capabilities and a 3D printer, too.

As Extrude Hone is historically an American company headquartered in Irwin PA, we are proud to support the America Makes initiative in “accelerating the adoption of the additive manufacturing technologies in the United States to increase domestic manufacturing competitiveness.”
